Postby JL77 » Sat Dec 29, 2007 7:05 pm

How weird, a few days ago I was 87kg then today i weighed myself and i was 84.6kg. After all soooo many chocolates and xmas food I thought my weight would hit at least 90kg.. How can that happen?

I wonder the same thing too!

But then I might have a day where I pig out and exercise and eat well the rest of the week and lose nothing...sort of like my body catching up on me!

Congrats on your loss - take it and run with it

reason was most likely due to the amount of fluid in your body at the time you weigh yourself. for example if you drink 1 litre of water you will weigh 1 kilogram more.

I find the best way to find your act6uall weight is to weigh yourself the next morning after getting completely hammered the night before. Alcohol dehydrates you and the next morning you have very little water in your system. Bit of a catch 22 this method though lol

So true! For ages I thought alcohol was actually helping my diet. Any time I eliminated booze for a week or more I ended up weighing more than when I started. It was only after I joined this forum I found out it was just because previously I'd been weighing myself in a dehydrated state!
