To lose 30kg, me and my partner have made a pledge to each other, which follows rewards and punishments :lol:

By the 7th of April, I have vowed to have lost 10kg, as well as falling in love with cardio (i'm not liking it at the moment)and my reward is going to be an outfit of my choice, ideally a pair of Levis, I havent worn jeans in years :roll:

By the 7th of August, I have vowed to have lost another 10kg, as well as doing laps at our local pool (I love to swim) My reward will be a tattoo, of my choice.....

By the 20th of December, I would have lost 30kg, and be a pro at RPM.... being my overall goal, I have requested my reward to be a $500 shopping spree....

when it comes to the dates of weigh in which is the 7th april/august, and we havent reached our goals, we dont get our rewards obviously, and the other person who does achieve get another reward of their choice.....

So this is real cool, I am so looking forward to the challenges..... especially doing it with my partner...30kg is alot to lose, I have some hard work in store for me..... so starting from tomorrow is where the challenges start....

Does anyone have any tips :)

Maybe write in a food diary of how you feel that day and what you ate

drink 2 liters of water and have a drink when your hungry and see if you are actually hungry

excerise (I should do my own advice hey)

I am actually going to journal my progress in a book, to help me stay on track and stuff like that... I have never did anything like this before, (obviously) and I am really feeling up for the challenge, but yeah, I will partly journal my progress here as well...

yeah it really is, I think so to. its a bonus cause I'm doing it with my partner, who is a mean machine, hardout gym junkie, but the only thing is he still holding on to the ciggys, and thats one of his goals, to quit by the end of the year...

As well as the both of us becoming healthier and fitter, I was thinking that it was really going to make this year fly by

I wish my partner had weight to lose! LOL. We're so competitive, i reckon we'd push each other great.

I've just started the diet with my partner too. He's not got much to loose compared to me. Having someone else to help keep you on track helps SO much. Hopefully it'll do the same for you.

I also agree that doing it with someone helps! My partner and I tried last year and didnt get anywhere. This year we have a secret weapon... my mum! She also is going to get healthy, and we are all doing WW together which will be motivating!

You have the support of your partner to help you along. Getting fit and healthy together is such a good idea; and will bring you two even closer together :D

11 months for 30 kilos is 'doable'... a few on here have already and hopefully I'll be joining them soon 8)

Thanks everyone for the support....You all have encouraged me heaps. :D

Yeah it's a real bonus that I am doing it with Jon, although he doesnt have to lose weight, he just needs to stop his smoking, and get a 6 pack, by the end of the year :shock: :lol:

Bella55 I really believe it is going to bring us closer together, striving to be healthy :!: gosh since being together we usually have done the opposite (unhealthy in every area) and thats been going on for like 8 years :roll: so yeah such an awesome thing to do. we both are on our way to healthy happier lives...

Good Luck with you are your partners goals!!! Thats awesome, If me and mine did that he would lose his excess in a month and i would be stuck slogging it out for the rest of the year alone.
