My scales are broken! Yay!

Postby milkyway » Mon Jan 07, 2008 9:10 pm

Liberation. Feels fantastic. My scales have broken and I'm not going to replace them.

I have fitness assessment in about 2 weeks time and I'll get my measurements done, skinfold caliper test done and weighed at the gym.

It's a great feeling knowing the evil beast has been slaughtered!!! :P

So no more weigh-ins from me for a while :)

Hahahaha  That's great!

The skinfold tests would be good. A much more telling story than the scales!

Yeah - I didn't realise how much I invested in that bloody piece of machinery until they broke. But now they're gone, it really makes me feel better, like I'm no longer ruled by them...

I love my scales. Sure they lie a bit and if I weigh myself more than twice in a 24 hour period they get grumpy and add on 10kilos but I'm a forgiving person.

My offical weigh in day is Monday and if I know theres a chance at a good loss i actually spring out of bed to go and see. Sad really isn't it  .
