I remember when I first started Aikido I ached for ages, but I soon got used to it. I'm a bit sore today actually from badminton last night as I hadn't played in a while. The best way to deal with muscle soreness I find is to get them moving again. Sitting around just makes them stiffen up more.
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
