Hi guys.. how do u work out how many calories are in a certain food?? i have always looked at the sugar and carbs on the nutrition information table on the back of the packets??

Join up at http://www.calorieking.com.au and you can enter the food and get the calories, fat, protein, carb content etc.
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...

It is law in Australia that all packaged food must have the energy per 100g in Kilojoules listed on it somewhere. You can then workout how much is in a serve and then divide it by 4.2 to get how many calories are in the item.

Definitely join Calorie King, its the BEST! I used to just punch in foods into CK and roughly workout how much i'd had each day, but doing my daily diet and exercise on CK has helped me SO much.
Saying goodbye to calorie counting AND scales for a while.

Just enjoying the new and improved healthy me and embracing my new lifestyle!

Join CK and do up your personal profile - weight, age, height, censored, goal weight etc and CK will tell you the amounts that they recommend. It really is such a handy website, I love it :D
