Long walks to keep me from going insane!

Postby Hayley » Mon Apr 10, 2006 8:01 pm

Hi everyone,

Still in Perth and still waiting to move to Denham - probably be here for another 4 or 5 weeks! Not what we had planned but great for family as they are getting to spend so much time with our little Connor (he's loving being spoilt rotten by grandparents!)

Anyway, I'm not working but everyone else in the household works full-time. Because my husband takes our car everyday to work, I am without a vehicle and have been confined to the house and getting extremely bored!

Well, last week I decided to bight the bullet and start walking again. Because I have nothing else to do, I've been taking my boy for 8km walks in the pram. I've only done it a few times now and already starting to tighten up (I'm not going to weigh myself yet, I think I'll go by what I fit into rather than numbers on the scales).

Really happy because it's getting me out of the house, it's making me healthier and we even stop off in the park on the way home for a run and a kick of the soccer ball!

Great fun and it's working!

Hayley :D

sounds great Hayley, well done!! It is great to get out and about after being cooped up for a while!

15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!
