Easter Eggs

Postby holly80 » Sun Mar 23, 2008 6:52 pm

So how did we all go with our eggs?

I was quiet pleased wiht myself. I normally would stuff my face with chocolate until I get a headache from eating to much. This year I didnt. I had some little ones here and there but did not give in to eating them all or the big ones.

Ohhhh Helen, you're so good, i don't know how you can resist with ALL those bloody eggs around.

I remember when i used to work in a shopping centre near one of those lil chocolate shops and Easter would come and go and then Greek Easter would'nt be far away so they would re-stock with Easter treats for it which meant that so would i.....hehe

Ironically Easter actually thwarted my chocolate cravings last night. I was desperate for some vegan Tim-Tams or any type of chocolatey substance. So I 'justified' it by doing a power walk that just happened to take me past the local supermarkets so I could indulge my hankering. But they were closed because of Easter Sunday. No chockies for Ali. censored! (Yet good censored because I got exercise and didn't ruin it by eating crap. But I reeeeeally wanted chocolate!)

Grrr. I hate the swear filter! The 'censored' I was talking about was discussing the illegitimate status of the supermarkets' birth. Not because I think supermarkets' parents necessarily have to marry, but because the word in question is a common affectionate and mocking term used in the Australian vernacular.

Arghhh! Lindt and their bunnies... Yumm, I don't know how anyone could let one sit there!! But, it's over now, they won't have anymore for a year!
My work decided to come around with a massive bowl of them, and then give us free lunch!! Hardest thing to resist.
