Gawddddddddd I got given soooo many Easter eggs. From work and the boys parents. I have been super good and only eaten 3 little baby eggs. I have ordered the boy and my roomie to gulp them all up  Seeing all the chocolate in the fridge is making me sick, good thing I think :D

I didn't actually get an egg because on the radio someone said it's the best time to buy chocolate block because they are always marked down as everyone is buying eggs. It is true. My husband & I got some ridiculously cheap yummy Lemon Shortcake chocolate instead. We did home renos all weekend so I'm sure that would have counteracted the extra calories.

I have a cute email joke about Easter with 2 chocolate bunnies talking. One says, "I've got a sore butt," and it has a lump of its butt missing. The other has no ears, it says "what did you say?" hehe

I managed to get through easter without any eggs at all. The kids at our church were given Flake eggs yesterday, and my daughter ate the Flake and hubby 1/2 the egg, but I satisfied myself with a weight watchers yogurt and later a piece of gi fruit bread. Sometimes I really miss choccies, but know if I have even one, it will be like an alcoholic falling off the wagon, so I don't even go there.

We got a box of truffles to share from our parents which we had before easter, and then I got a box of Norman and Dann chocs from the bloke. I've got a 18 left and I've got a new challenge that I can have 1 per day and if I can make them last till April 23 I can buy myself a new book.

I got a few eggs but I have been pretty good to resist most of them. I put them in the crisper with my veges so if I go to eat them I have to look at the veges first (hopefully that will deter me a bit more - has worked so far). :D

During our move, I found a picture of me in Singapore back in 2000....and God was I tiny!! I never knew I'd ever been so skinny....tiny little legs and arms...I even had collar bones!!

I took the photo and put it on the fridge so I see what I was - and what I could be again, every time I go to get something to eat!

I WILL LOOK LIKE THAT AGAIN...

Yup!
I well and truly lost it over the weekend.
Time to detox and start again I guess
I'd been getting a little slack, so maybe it's time to start from scratch and see what works best for me!

I didn't get any Easter Eggs this year. So I made up the missing calories with Easter Alcohol instead.

Oh Ali, a woman after my own heart rofl.

Well I had one of those tiny eggs and I had a small kitkat stick, but it was more the bbq & drinks I think that didn't help me too much, but I still lost alittle and dont' feel like I missed out on anything so I'm happy :)

I think I'm VERY lucky.

I actually don't like Australian Dairy milk, being bought up on English dairy milk which tastes really different make Australian stuff taste strange.

No way am I complaining though! I haven't had chocolate since September last year when I went back to the UK! What a miracle! :!:

I think this is why I'm finding the diet a lot eaiser this time around. Chocolate was my downfall when I was at home and now it doesn't even come into the equation.

Why can't someone come up with a solution like this to Mc Donalds, Chinese, Wine and Smelly Cheese?!

it's cos they add extra stuff into ours so it doesn't melt as easily - its a lot hotter here so they need to add it
