what gets u exercising?

is it that goal piece of clothing? that fat photo? having no energy? and what does ur exercise consist of each wk?

needing to get to work/uni :wink: I cycle for transport so I kinda have to exercise or I lose my job and fail uni really! LOL. Also I jog with my puppy and if I don't, well, he tears the yard to shreds :lol:
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

At present I am not exercising.

I do incidental exercise.

I am just focusing on the food side first.

Short answer? Not much! But I'm trying to motivate myself. You know, I'm finding that this forum works as good motivation. After reading through some posts, and seeing what everyone's achieving, it gets me on to the treadmill.
And I'm starting to see some small success for myself - that's probably even more of a reason to keep on exercising :mrgreen:

At the moment, am just walking, but baby steps first hey? After I can get to the point where the walking has become an ingrained habit, I was thinking of maybe going to a gym (I hate gyms....) I really like swimming, but haven't done it for years. Don't know whether I'll have the courage to expose myself in swimmers.....

For me it is to get fit before ttc & also rediscovering my skinny wardrobe. Every Saturday after weigh in I try on some of my skinny clothes to see how far off they are from fitting properly & that gives me motivation to keep going.

My husband has the car most days so I walk everywhere & that way I get my exercise in everyday. I walk to work Mon-Fri which is 6kms & about 2-3 times a week walk at lunch times more to get away from my desk & get some fresh air. On weekends usually long walks along the beach or around the lake near my house. Yesterday I walked to the shops which is 7kms because I had no other way of getting there & am going to do the same thing today to go food shopping.

Also this forum is incredibly encouraging & supportive so I come on here everyday to keep myself in line.

Right now I'm exercising for the sake of exercise! I'm really enjoying getting on the PS2 dance mat or going for a walk, which unfortunately is about all I can do right now because I've strained my back. It's ironic that I most enjoy exercise when I can do it least. I guess it's just wanting what you can't have! When I'm fit and well I just want to sit on the couch. Now when the GP tells me to take it easy all I want to do is work out! :lol:

Shame gets me excercising!
When it gets to a Wednesday and my personal trainer asks me "How many times have you excercised this week?"

So now I do it at least once a week in addition to the session she gives me and again if I can muster the energy to do it.

Also, I have a mirrored wardrobe infront of my treadmill and I walk/run infront of it (in just sports bra and joggers) I can see my fat wobbling so it makes me push myself harder!

I struggle with exercise.

What makes me do it? Wanting to see better results on the scale.

in the morning i walk with my dog(scobby), in my office i always move form one Flore to other, because my office in two Flore .
at the weekend use my cycle.

I have a formal dress that used to fit me purfectly. I want to fit it again, all I have to do is look at it a remember how beutiful I felt while wearing it.
