Just curious really...
I went on my treadmill last night and walked at a speed of 6 (on an incline) for 10 mins as a warm up before my workout.
According to my treadmill Jogging is speed 5 and Running is a speed 7
I do a really fast walk at 6
Do you think it effects the calories/KJ that you burn?
Do you think if I ran at Speed 6 it would burn more calories than the REALLY fast walk?
Surely if you are jogging you are covering more ground than the walk, but wouldn't this mean that you would have to move your legs twice as fast to keep walking at that speed?
Hope this makes sense!?
