Hi there guys...
Well, I signed up here a while ago, but am still so lazy, I haven't lost weight, but I haven't gained any either, which I suppose is a good thing, but something has triggered inside of me, realising that I am very overweight (I think it was from watching biggest loser where the girl started off a size 26 and now she's a size 10).
I'm 19 years old, weigh 120kgs and want to get down to about 65 - 70 kgs.
I bought a treadmill, as I told you guys last time I was on here, however I don't use it all that often, I just cannot find the willpower inside of myself.
Sometimes I get angry with people assuming that I eat terribly because of my weight. I don't. I love salads, veges, fruit etc. I cant eat very many sweets or fried foods. I eat pizza maybe once a month, and I can't eat ice-cream all that often because I have a problem with lactose. I don't eat chips, I prefer a few pretzals or rice crackers, so it's not like I shovel crap into my mouth constantly. So I just don't get why I am so big.
I also have IBS, which means that I cannot eat fried foods or anything with too much oil, sweets, lactose, nuts and seed, anything with too much fibre (so certain vegetables and fruits etc are out), not too much red meat, herbs and spices (except fresh basil and oregano). This gets me stuck with recipes. Usually I eat really boring food, and it makes me frustrated because I want to diet, but not at the expense of flavour, however I don't want to get godawful sick when eating these flavourful foods.
I lack motivation. I'm married and my husband is always telling me how wonderful I look etc. He's done the whole weight loss thing before he met me, he used to weigh about 120kg and began to walk all the time and got his way down to about 75kgs, however he still eats crap (like pizza and chips aaallll the time), but just controls his weight with his exercising.
Anyway, as I was saying, I lack motivation. I get bored so easily. If I don't see massive results within a week I give up. I've tried weight watchers points diet, however I continuously forget to write down what I've eaten and forget to count points. I've attempted to write up a menu for myself, however my husband does most of the cooking in the household and wont listen to me when I tell him to cook what's on the menu. I want to try some shakes and stuff, but I know that they aren't a forever thing.
Can someone please help me?? I'm so desperate!!! I've set myself this goal, and I want to achieve it in about a year, but at the moment it looks so hopeless.
