What amount do you aim to lose each week?

I aim for 1-1.5 kg a week but any loss is a good loss as far as I'm concerned.
I do get a little disheartened if it is only a small loss though.

i read 2day the more u have to lose the weekly losses will be closer 2 the 1kg mark. The less u have the harder it will be 2 lose 1kg weekly.

2-3 per week? That seems like a lot to me. Are you sure that's healthy?

For me it is! I've already lost a bit over 2kg in the past week, and all I've done is cut out junk food. Once I start exercising it'll increase to about 4kg per week, and then in a few weeks it will go back down to a steady 2kgs a week. I've always been like that! I have a fast metabolism and a lot of my weight is muscle. I just eat junk food non stop and when I stop doing that, weight comes off quite easily! I just need to stick to it!!

as you get closer to your goal weight, don't be disappointed your weight loss won't be as much as now.

Yeah I understand that. Once I get to around 80ish it starts to slow back down to around 1kg per week! I'm happy with anything though!! I love food too much :wink:
