scale help

Postby xXauschickXx » Wed Jun 25, 2008 4:21 pm

with scales (not electronic like one, just the normal one when theres the red line and it goes up to a number when you stand on it)
theres a little black spin thing down the bottom/underneath it and you can direct the line on that.
the red line is usually pointing down at the bottom but NOT on the zero. should i set it on the zero or leave it? sorry. silly questions cause ive tried both ways and they give both different numbers.

when you aren't standing on the scale, the red line needs to be smack bang on zero. If its below the zero then it is out of whack and you'll get an inaccurate reading.
