Baggy Skin

Postby curvygirl » Mon Jun 30, 2008 12:32 pm

Can anyone tell me what happens with your skin if you loose 50 kilos. Are you left with masses of extra skin? I am in my thirties and need to loose about 50 kilos but am worried that I may also need plastic surgery. I will have to start saving now. :( :( :(
Need to get motivated.

if you exercise you won't get baggy skin or too much of it.

Thanks for the helpful advice. I am still adverse to joining the gym but now will have to give it some serious thought.

If you lose between 0.5kg and 1kg per week your skin should have time to adjust. And as mentioned above toning exercises certainly help.

you don't have to join a gym to loose the weight. Walking is great exercise & its free.

You can do weights outside a gym to. There are always heavy things around that can be adapted into a workout routine. I use iron stakes, but I understand that in the city there probebly arn't stacks of them lying around.
