Depends on what you want from your change of lifestyle. WW will show you how to eat for the rest of your life incorporating every food into their program. TF is good for quick weight loss but does limit what foods you can actually eat. You can't really drink alcohol on the program and if you can get sick of the shakes quickly. Its not a big outlay for either program and if you start with TF you could change to WW at any time. Try looking on ebay for some shakes without having to join up and see if you like them. They do have heaps of flavours. Sorry I havent really been much help.
