It adds to your carb count, and some are lower GI than others. I find when I'm not
dieting I tend to forget fruit - eating bread, biccies, cheese etc in its place.
On TF (last year) and now on Xndo, I really look forward to my two pieces of "allowed" fruit, and it does wonders for my bowel too. Sorry if that's TMI!
I say if you are enjoying it and eating it in lieu of refined and processed foods, go for it.
