Jeans shopping is so depressing!

Postby Nay » Wed Sep 03, 2008 6:10 pm

I have been wearing the same pair of jeans for the last year and a half and they are looking really daggy. No other pants in my wardrobe fit me at the moment so I decided to go jeans shopping today. I usually put off this event, as every time, I come home empty handed and depressed.

I am a size 12-14 bum/thighs and a size 8-10 waist/top half and I have a huge problem with trying to find jeans that fit and don't gape at the back.

So I went jeans shopping today, tried on every pair of jeans, in every single shop that sold jeans and not one fit properly!!!!! :x I could pull my hair out!! I hate getting all hot and bothered in the change rooms trying on pair after pair of jeans!!!

I REALLY need a new pair of jeans!!! I could cry...

Is anyone else frustrated with jeans shopping??????

Very frustrated, a lot of the time :(

I have high hips and im fairly straight at the sides because of it, and thick thighs, so jeans that would fit me at the hips wont get past my legs. Fun.

I can't wait to not have any jelly bits! I'm so sure its going to make wearing clothes easier.

To me, it's not just jeans, it's any pair of pants. When I buy a pair of pants, it never fits me perfectly. Some models come close, but there's always something wrong with the darn things. However, isn't it the problem there's something wrong with me that I'm trying to work out, which will eventually solve my jeans problem as well?

Do you know I remember one shopping trip as a teenager in Melbourne trying to buy jeans. We went to every darn shop in Melbourne I swear. I ended up in tears in a change room in Just Jeans or somewhere like that. The poor lady got me every single pair of jeans in the shop that vaguely may have fit me  And of course by that stage I was so upset that even if it did fit me, in my state, it didn't look any good.

I hate clothes shopping to this day.

In the past few years I have only gone jean shopping once. It depresses me, and I can never find a pair that is a perfect fit...

You try finding jeans in a way bigger size !!!! Every single pair is so unflattering and look like jeans that your grandmother should be wearing :(
