Multi-Vitamin

Postby Ophir » Tue Nov 18, 2008 12:48 pm

Can anyone reccommend a good womens multi-v? I have been feeling rather sluggish etc and went looking for one at lunch. The only one i could find was a Blackmores one. Only thing is, i have taken them before and they taste horrible and they are huge. Are there any others out there that are a bit smaller and nicer?

I guess it depends on exactly what vitamins you are lacking. I just take a Berocca every day and I find it gives me a bit of extra pep, but I mainly choose it because I lack in B vitamins.

I think taking a multi is great in the short term but may i suggest seeing your doctor and getting a blood test to ensure your not deficiant in anything, you might be able to fix your slugishness just by eating more of the right food.
Go see your local health food store and speak to them, they will be able to recomend one that will suit your needs until you find out whats causing your slugishness.

I think some vitamin for stamina have a lack of vitamin a and b, so maybe its better if you check your activity and find a suitable one for you. If you just stick with one brand, make sure that the combination is match with you

I am very against waisting money on multi-vitamins. I asked my doctor once if they were necessary and he said that they should be illegal. He tested my blood and found that even though i am 20 kilos overweight my vitamin and mineral levels were normal and i had 'very good" cholestorol. I would suggest just eating lots of fruit and vege's. My doctor did say its good though for everyone to take omega 3.
