I've just started using calorieking and something doesnt seem right. I put in my daily food intake and my exercise. I put in that i walk 120 minutes per day at 8kph. and it said that i was burning 2300 calories? That cant be right can it, or am i just reading the information wrong?

It could also be including the calories you're burning during the day just to function? Does it specifically state 2300 calories for just the exercise?

Are you sure you were walking at that high a speed? That's more a running speed. Are you using a treadmill or are you walking outdoors and guessing?

8kph is a slow jog for me, and i'm 194cm... i'd love to see someone of non-athelete status walk for 2 hours at 8kph...

I generally walk at about 5kmph which is still a good pace- are you guessing its 8 or are you on a treadmill? It does seem like a lot of caleries to burn. I just entered 120min at 5kmph and it said 540 caleries- are you looking at the kj? mine said 2259kj burnt so might be looking at the wrong figure.

Its 2 1hour sessions. 7k's to work. Work all day. 7k's home. And im big but i am atheletic. I've played grid iron all throughout highschool, and played 2 years since ( only 20 ). plus I have spent the last 3 years shedding the weight. And thats meant a lot of hard work. 14k's a day is not really all that much mate.....

are you running to and from work tho or walking? a fast walking pace is about 6km/h, theres a massive diff between the calories of 6kmh and 8kmh
