Hi january is such a tough month,im sticking to my diet but my motivation is low. Igot payed early December so pay day seem to be so far away. I think my motivation is so low because work is stressfull and just seem to leave me exhausted.I did go swimming alot last year..that was a good form of stress relief. I want to join the local gym ASAP.Any ideas to boost energy and motivation :lol:

Make sure you make time for yourself doing something you love- even if its just sitting down to a good book. that will put you in better spirits. Find exercise you enjoy doing so you WANT to do it each day or whenever you do it. same goes for food, if you cant bear to sit down to another plate of steamed veggies or carrot sticks for lunch then find something healthy that you do like to eat- it does not have to be boring to be healthy

Best way yo boost energy lvl's is to have a good high fibre brekky, and eat every 3 hours or so. keeping it healyth of course. I.E. fruit,yoghurt,etc.... ya know, keep it reasonable. As for motivation, take some before and after pictures/measurments. Personally watching the belt size dropping was enough for me. And going from a 4xl shirt down to a 2xl was a massive shot in the arm.

Thanks guys for your advice, very helpfull. Im going to takes some photos tonight.I have got to confess I have avoided the camera like the plague. But if it keeps my motivation going,it the best thing to do :)

Hi missyann,

photos are really good motivation! It was from seeing a pic of myself that made me go "yuck this weight has to go" and my hubby took before pictures on my 1st weigh in day that are great motivation to me coz they're so disgusting. Every Sunday is weigh in and measure day for me and my hubby will take pictures too to be able to track the progress.
