revenge weight loss

Postby matchbox » Sun Feb 22, 2009 5:04 pm

we all get it... when you think "how hot would i look if i lost a couple of kgs" or "if only __ could see me now" or "i'll get thin and show them" so we try and lose weight because of someone else.

post about it here... don't be shy

I'll second that notion whit3tig3y! :D

My fiancee's ex is a total psycho, and overweight too - at least 30kg's heavier than me - and she has the audacity to tell me (& their children) how fat and disgusting I am. Meanwhile, her new man is about 30kg's heavier than her, and wouldn't give a 6 year old hungry child ONE piece of pizza out of his THREE WHOLE pizzas, chicken wings, and garlic bread - mind you this was ALL for him as the mother was out with friends that night...

Can you feel the love?? haha.

Anyway - I have the same feeling of being BETTER than her!! Especially on my wedding day when I marry the man that would never marry her... God, I'm such a BIT*H!!! LOL.

Marrying a guy who would father 2 kids and not marry their mother is some leap of faith!!!! Good luck - you'll probably need it! Conception and contraception are the responsibility of both parties, so I hope you understand that he should pay support for those kids even if he has more with you.

The best revenge is to have the greatest life - and for them to know that not being around them is a BIG part of you creating that happiness.

He does pay support for them. He wants to see them but she wont let him because he won't leave me. One day we just hope she'll grow up :)

Hi all,

So before christmas my ex partner kicked me out of our house with my two little kids and i ended up staying at my sisters house (which i am still at).

I have only seen him once since then.

I have court on Monday the 29th and so far i have lost 16kg. I have not seen him since January!

I cant wait to see him, i loath him and i want him to eat his words and that will be the last time he calls me a "fat dog".

I am very stressed out about going to court its to work out visitation with our girls so instead of eating or drinking a load of wine i have been walking kms I just did a 15km on Wednesday.

So that is my revenge watching his jaw drop!

It is really sad when kids are used as weapons/pawns. I am glad he is paying support as they are not to blame for the problems between their parents - and it will show the courts that he is not a "deadbeat Dad".

Unfortunately, it sounds like you are going to have an ongoing battle with her if she can't accept the relationship is over. Is he named as the father on their birth certificates - because that would help with future problems.

Get good legal advice re custody, access, mutual decision-making over things in the kids lives etc. It can save a LOT of future hassels if possible problems are considered by the court early on. There have been some recent changes in the law regarding children. Take a look at the Family Law Court website.

Good luck Sezza for Monday. :)

He's only named on one of the birth certificates because she wanted to claim centrelink as a single parent while they were still living and together so.

I don't really want to lose the weight out of "revenge" as such because I don't have any ex's - I married my one and only, however we have an Easter thing on Good Friday with the in-laws (who are all really small but constantly whinge about how fat they are - leaving me feeling really bloody wonderful about myself) and we are going to visit some best friends in another state in May (where both the girls are super fit and thin) and I really just want people to notice at both these occassions. I don't know why it means that much to me, but it is good motivation nonetheless.
