Personally, I'd go for digital scales.

That's what I was thinking...my problem is my bathroom floor isn't 100% level and it interferes with the reading by up to 1/2 kilo.

i would go with the first ones the bathroom scales but the set i got isnt on there anymore but is very similar but these ones dont do all the bone density, body fat %, water weight, etc measurements that mine does ... try http://www.oo.com.au/Body_Fat_Hydration ... P19610.cfm they do body fat % hydration and muscle

I've just got a crummy old mechanical one. I like it because I can't tell exactly what I weigh, because my eyesight isn't that good - those little dashes are so tiny lol. I can just see if it's going up or going down, which is really all that matters...

Had a whiz bang digital body fat scale (don't have it anymore as I broke it in temper  ) - it was expensive, and dodgy. Like, I'd weigh myself before getting in the shower. Then after my shower, I'd weigh again, this time with a big heavy wet towel around me... and guess what?? Same number!!! Dodgy  Plus the body fat readout.... 35% body fat for a 50kg person :? It reckoned my ideal weight was 41kgs.. I'd like to see that!!!!
