Starting the day with healthy breakfast foods is critical to keep your blood sugar levels stable, and preventing carbohydrate cravings from kicking in mid morning. Try having foods high in protein, or low in glycemic load such as cereal, wholegrain toast, eggs or baked beans. A fruit and yoghurt smoothis might be the go if you don't feel like eating anything first thing in the morning. Your body will adapt if you gradually train yourself to have breakfast.
