Hi everyone
I hope this message finds you well.

My name is Linda (29; 169cm; 74kg) and I just thought I'd introduce
myself. Like you I have a great interest(problem) in Weight loss
and I am over the moon to find this forum with like minded people.

I'am sure you'll be hearing a lot from me over the next few weeks

Hi Linda. Good on you for making a decision to do something about your weight problem. This is a great forum. Lots of info and supportive people. Good luck with your weight loss. Let us know how it goes.

thanks, I appreciate you replying. I'm doing some research, looking for suggestions, advice.
I'd like to get some advice from someone about an idea I have to lose an extra 7-10 kg.

What works for you?

Here are some tips that I've read to most of the books, just want to recommend these to you as well: :D
*Watch the refined carbohydrates. Avoid foods that are processed and in boxes. Those are high glycemic, processed, and full of chemicals and additives. Stay with natural, fresh whole foods.

*Low fat and fat free diets (what you eat daily) do not work. Although you do not want a high fat diet, you do need the proper types and amount of fat in the diet. Be sure to get your EFA’s (essential fatty acids),

*We are genetically different, so be sure to eat according to your type. You can now check your DNA to find your genetic disposition, or get a good coach to evaluate you.

*do keep a journal. Be aware of what you usually do.

*Move!. Bodies are designed to move. Do some type of activity or exercise regularly to lose weight.

I have been so dang busy lately but thanks for yuour help.
My sons are on a traveling club volleyball team and every weekend we are gone and during the week we have practice and they have both started practicing for softball too. We only have a month left of school so I am pretty busy.
