1400 calorie diet.

Postby chasemymind » Sun May 10, 2009 12:38 pm

Okay so i've learn, calories go in, verses calories going out is how you gain and lose weight.
So my aim is to eat 1300-1400 calories a day.

anyone got any OMG DONTS or YES DOS on this subject? Or recipes for breaky and lunch in the 200-300 calorie zone?
I"D LOVE YOU FOREVER :D

Unfortunately, not knowing your height, I can't say for certain if this number of calories is okay for you or not.
However, if you are of average height and are doing some regular exercise, it sounds pretty good.
I'm 5'8ft and am on roughly 1500 calories.

Hi there!..

I agree to Riayn that height is important on determining our required energy intake. The taller you are, more energy is recommended for you.. You must visit a dietitian to accurately compute your needed calories. They are the ones who know it.. Don't get into rough estimates. :D

Yeah, i've already spoken to my mum about the amount of calories. I run 5 times a week and do karate 3 times a week and im about 5'4. So i'm pretty sure its in the 1300-1400 zone :)

Get yourself a profile made up on http://www.calorieking.com.au, you can put in your height, weight, activity levels, et cetera and it will tell you how many calories you should consume to lose a healthy .5 - 1kg a week. It also gives you a meal plan if you want, and a food diary to keep track of your food and exercise! And it is free! :D

AWESOME! Thanks a heap. I have a calorie king book my mums given me so i can count all the food calories. :) I've done multiple calculations of height and weight and activeness to get my 1400 but I'll defiantly join up to that and go through it again. Cant be too safe :D Thanks guys

:) Im too young to go to a gym. Besides, I run 3-5 times a week and do karate 3 times a week, so exercise has never been a problem with the extra weight. Oh and i think i stuffed up my ticker, because, my doctor took my measurements and weighed me and girls my age and height should be in the 40-55 kilos and maxes out at 60. So he said shedding a few with only improve my health and is not at all dangerous. I have also seen a specialist to make sure. :D

A regular drinking of pomegranate juice can help overcome obesity.
