well i just went into the pantry and had a look a few items on the shelves and none of them said how many calaries they were they had sugars and proteins and carbohyrdrates and yeh no calaries help! please :(

This chart is based on the “Atwater Factors”

1 gram of protein = 4 calories

1 gram of carbs = 4 calories

1 gram of fat = 9 calories

Calories are rarely put on the items normally it is written as kilojoules or Energy in this case take the amount of energy/kilojoules and divide it by 4.2 and that will equal how many calories it has

hello there! I saw on a diff thread u were having troubles finding a website that can give u a meal planner/ exercise planner etc...well u shud join up to CK. It's http://www.calorieking.com.au and it's free :D it is the best thing I couldn't live without it ! It tells you everything about calories in whatever food you search for, tells you how many calories you shud be eating for ur weight/height, and heaps more as u will see. It's amazing ! Give it a go...and good luck with your weight loss chicky babe :D
