Week 8 for Hayley on Tony Ferguson

Postby Hayley » Mon Aug 21, 2006 10:11 am

Hi everyone,

Today was my 7th weigh and measure since starting the Tony Ferguson plan, which means that it is also the start of my 8th week. I lost 2.2kg and 2cm since last week and I'm so happy. I've now lost a total of 10.2kg and 14cm from my waist in 7 weeks.

Yesterday was my son's 3rd birthday party and I cooked so much yummy food for everyone and had none of it myself, not even a tiny bit. I was so proud of myself once everyone had gone home and I realised I hadn't touched any of the food - we cooked nori rolls, had a variety of different sandwiches and then had the hot foods such as spring rolls, dim sims, samosas etc etc. There was even lots of dips and crackers and chips........I guess I was so busy getting all the food ready that I forgot about it all. I had my shake and that was that. I didn't even eat any of the Thomas The Tank Engine cake! Amazing. I was planning on having just a little bit but when it came time to serve it, I didn't feel like any anyway.

Looking at the scales this morning, I'm glad I didn't stuff up yesterday, as my results probably wouldn't have been that good.

I hope you are all well. Just wnated to share my weekend with you all.

Hayley.

Congratulations Hayley! That is a great weight loss. I bet you feel good about not giving in to all that food yesterday! It was great that you said that you didn't feel like it (about the cake). I think that is important as you didn't deprive yourself of it, you just didn't feel like and that is a big difference.....keep up the excellent work. I bet you are starting to feel the difference!!

Hi Kate,

Thanks for your support. In regards to measuring your waist, my Tony Ferguson consultant measured in the spot where my belly button is, so I just make sure I put the tape-measure in a straight line around where my belly button is.

Hi Hayley, wow you certainly are doing so well on the TF program.
When I was on it the chemist girl used to measure my waist at the belly button too.
