I agree a diet has to be achievable over the long term, it needs to be done for life! Which I have found that it can be. I am using the Censored System and it is designed to be a LIFETIME program. You eat 6 meals a day, reduce the carbs, eating protein in all meals and 1 day a week, you can have a high calorie day to trick your metabolism, so that it doesn't become complacent. It has worked for many people, and makes sense, you don't feel restricted and you are never hungry!
So each to ones own I guess, but I'm sticking with this.
