How many Cals per day? % of fat, protein etc ?????????

I just joined calorie king and they suggested I set my goal at 1300 cal/day! Is that doable!??/ I want to loose 5 kgs. I have already reached that and haven't eaten dinner yet. :?

For today, 27% of the calories are from fat, 10% from protein, 58% from carbs and 5% from alcohol.

What should this look like?

I think they say 40-50% carbs, 20-30% protein and 20-30% fat :) So less carbs and more protein for you!

I'm on 1300 at the moment, it is definitely doable! Why don't you check the box in your profile to get CK to make a meal plan for you, it will give you an idea of what you can eat for a day.

For effective weight loss science is beginning to really back the need for protein in the diet.

For the best and most effective weight loss that will actually keep the weight off and not just drop water from your body the macro split should be at

45% carbs 25 % protein 30% fat

Give or take 5% protein or carbs but 30% fat is essential because fat burns fat.

Make sure you are eating plenty of omega 3's and unsaturated fats but also some saturated fat in the diet will help with weight loss because it helps calcium absorption.
