Exercise advice needed - new gym membership

Hi all
I have been going now for about 6 weeks and just celebrated my birthday on the weekend.
My family pitched in for a gym membership for me (as requested) as I have been already going twice a week and it has been a good boost to shifting my first 4 kilos.

At the moment I am doing:
Mon night: Water aerobics (50 mins) pretty intense
Thurs night: swimming laps (usually 20-25/25m pool) - moderate

Ideally, I want to increase my excerise over the next few of months so I can build up to:

Mon night: water aerobics
Tues night: weights & swim
Wed morning: water aerobics
Thurs night: weights & swim or a fitball class (when I can handle land-based activity)
Friday: day off
Sat/ Sun: 1 x long family walk & 1 x pool/gym visit.

This is more than I have ever done in my life and I am wondering if I am being too ambitious...?
I would like some advice as to how to build up and any tips on how to balance cardio/weights.
Also any advice about what and when to eat. I need to be at the pool around 6.30/7 most nights and I am not sure when/what to eat around that time of the day. Dinner before or after?

Your aim is pretty similar to the amount and intensity of physical activity that i do, so it is doable. Pace yourself though, otherwise it'll be hard to stick to it. Good luck :)
Had my baby girl Leah on 13/12/10!

Weight at 40 weeks: 81.5kg
SW 4 days post-baby: 74.4kg
CW: 67kg

1st mini goal: 72kg - DONE!
2nd mini goal: 70kg - DONE!
3rd mini goal: 67kg - DONE!

4th mini goal: 64kg

Thank you - thats what I was thinking.... but how quickly to add an extra session?
Perhaps one new one for a couple of weeks and then another etc...?
I have a very poor track record and a very high give-up record!
