I have this problem too! One of the BEST things i have ever done, is spend $80 on a water filter stand up thing (you know, like the ones they have in offices) to put in my lounge room - it makes me drink SOOOO much more. I am the ultimate lazy girl - so if getting water means going to the kitchen, getting a cup, opening the fridge, pouring out the water jug, re filling it and then drinking it then i just dont do it! This way, all i have to do is walk over and press a button - genious!
Another thing that i have found really helps is, on those days when i just cant have more water, i trick myself into thinking that i am having a 'treat' by having a tall glass of soda or mineral water with a squeeze of lime or diet cordial - i can easily down four of these without feeling like i have had to 'force the water down'
Also, i know this is an old-hat trick, but have an ever-present bottle of water - in the car, at work, at home - and make deals with yourself - i.e "Whilst im driving to the shops i will have a sip of water at every red light' etc.
Actually, now that i think about it - I havent had much water today either - i better go have a glass now!
