:D :D <---- not cranky any more...see!

That is great news about your Mum Hayley that would sure as heck be motivation for me to keep going. Best of luck for her and it is great that you already know so much about TF and have had such great success that I am sure she gets plenty of motivation from you too.

Well done Hayley! :D

TF still going really well. I'm down another 100g since yesteday, so now 76.9kg. This is so exciting for me as I cannot remember the last time I was even in the 70's! Hubby going really well too. He's only been doing it for just over a week and already you can see a huge differene in his face, tummy and chest. I'm really proud of him.

Mum's going really well too. 2.8kg and 2cm in her first week. She's happy with that and is motivated to continue. It also looks as though my Aunty (mum's younger sister) is going to join up too. She has joined up with Sureslim in the past, but can't stomach the food on her menu now, and is quite looking forwrad to just have a tasty shake or soup and a protein/vegie meal for tea.

Wow, soon we're going to be a TF family! My grandmother is evry likely to start if she sees the success that her 2 daughetrs have on it as well as her grandaughter.

A spinach and ricotta quiche for tea tonight - will be interesting to see what this one tastes like, as it is completely TF friendly.

How was everyone's weekend?

Thanks Jules and Kate,

I'm still plugging along. Sure helps having mum and hubby on it too. Emailed my aunty this morning and she's definitely going in on Wednesday to join up and start the program! I also have another friend of mine who has now said she's joining - whoo hoo. Being a TF consultant would be something I'd seriously be into. I think it's be rewarding to help others and I'm on the program so I know what it's like!

Thanks so much for your support and encouragement. I couldn't do it without you guys!

My weekend was spent tidying up at my hubby's folks' place, getting ready to sell their property. Quiet but productive weekend.

Well, you know how I said my grandmother may join up if to TF, like many other women in my family??? She emailed me yesterday to say she'd had a look at the TF site and program and is going to the chemiost to sign up today! I'm so proud of the women in my family for deciding to do something about their weight problems. So there's me, hubby, my mum, my aunty, my nan and 2 friends who are joining up very soon.

hee hee, it's a TF family now! I should look at a consultant position for TF!!

How is everyone today?

Awww! Thanks guys. Well, I'm not sure what's gone on here! Over the last 2 days I've put on 600g and I haven't been naughty. I've still lost 500g this week but am confused as to why I've put on rather than lost. I'm thinking it may be 'cos I didn't drink all my water the last 3 days, had a stirfry with lots of soy sauce (salt and fluid retention???) and have been drinking a bit of that caffiene and sugar free coke, whereas normally I don't drink that. Hubby put on too! Go figure?????

My body can fluctuate a great deal over the course of a week, even more so over the course of a day so I don't set much store by the scales and only take the weight on my official weigh in day. Sometimes I think the scales are our worst enemy. Stick to your plan and your conviction and you will get to goal no matter what the scales say in the meantime. Keep at it Hayley you are doing so very well. Proud of ya gal! :D

Weight fluctuations are normal Hayley. I did a little experiment just recently where I weighed in and then the next day I weighed again and it was up 1kg so I got really mad, so I weighed the next day again and it was down 1.2kg!!AARRGH so I only weigh in the once a week now too, like Kim. (less frustration that way LOL).

As you said also, fluid retention from a lot of salty products could also be the cause.

I agree with Kim, Hayley you are do so well, keep up the great job!!

hi hayley dont let it get you down, i know you weigh yourself everyday but those scales are a curse lol. just go by your weekly weigh in and you will be fine. theres quite a bit of sodium (salt) in soy sauce so that could be it, as well as not drinking all your water and more soft drink than you normally drink. keep your chin up you are doing well!!! whats your weigh in day again?? i forget!
