Try and think of it as not neccessarily eating just to lose weight but to be healthy! It has taken me a while to change my mentality from what I see on the scales to how I feel on the inside.
Eat a good breakfast with lots of wholegrains, fresh fruit etc or some free range eggs poached with salmon and spinach nom nom then lots of water all day a big salad for lunch with lots of greens and some protein and if you feel like a piece of wholegrain bread that too - dinner nice grilled protein i.e. chicken or fish or small serve of steak with lots of veges.
Some yogurt and fresh fruit and raw nuts for snacks!
If you have depression omega three supplements can help - my partner takes them for depression and I have only just started but I find them very beneficial! I guess instead of thinking of the quick fix for weight loss think of it as a wholistic approach for your health
