censored man... an hour of walking every day? You must eat a hell of alot of food? Cardio is the best for weightloss man, I wasn't good at running when i was 130-odd kg, but you get better and better everytime. Just last week on monday I 'thought' i struggled with the 1.3k's around the block, but something in my head told me to go and get F'd, and run around the golf course... nailed over 5.5kms non stop two days in a row. Just get out there bloke, hit it hard, and follow it up the next day.

You're human. Nothing is too hard; just takes practice.

Yup running/jogging is great for so many reasons

1) you can go further/faster quite quicky if you just keep at it at least a couple of times a week - you'll notice how much you improve much faster than with other types of exercise, and so it's great for keeping you motivated
2) it's cardio which is the best for fat loss
3) once you can jog for a while it's really easy and quite a pleasant way to exercise I find ... you don't have to think about anything, your body just gets into the rythym of it and you can do it on 'autopilot' ... so you just get this relaxed kind of "buzz"... it's great

A lot of people like the couch to 5k program... maybe check that out. Or just start jogging somewhere and then the next time make yourself jog a little further than that... good luck!

walk as if you are rushing to an appointment or late for class... that would be a good start :)

I've discovered this great thing recently - and I promise I'm not a spammer/sneaky advertiser! :P It's a Gymstick - we used them in my pilates class the other day, and they're great! Really simple and effective design for resistance training. Just look it up on Google, you'll find out more. They're a little bit expensive, but really convenient for home exercise :)
