HELP PLEASE!!!!!

My name is Alexandra, i am 19 yrs old, 5 ft 7 and weigh 110 kilos =(. and it only seems to be getting worse.

I used to weigh 80 and i was responabily happy, however about 4 months ago my fiance passed away and i have been eating poorly and not exercising at all. i cant find motivation.
i feel tired, weak, fat and ugly..

i really need help.. =(

Hi Alexandra and welcome to the forum.

Sorry to hear your fiance passed away :( Sounds like the grief is affecting your lifestyle. Everyone grieves in their own way and that will hopefully slowly get less with time. It's hard to find motivation to do these things when your emotions are all over the place, try to be a bit forgiving of yourself while that happens, but it looks like you're getting to the stage where you're wanting to re-focus on you, that's good too.

Don't panic too much, it will come back off. It just sounds like for the minute while you're grieving everything else has hit the fan, which means hopefully as things settle you'll pick back up on those habits you had before. Just take it a little step at a time, focus on taking care of yourself (so that includes eating, sleeping and being a bit active - you might find you even feel better with a few self care strategies) and if you think you need professional help to work on your emotions and how you're coping, then by all means get it (not saying you do, just mentioning it in case you feel you do).
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).

Good advice there. If you are ready to focus on yourself then just take your time, there is no rule about how quickly you need to lose the weight- unless your dr tells you that is. So dont stress yourself too much, take it one step at a time, find ways of dealing with your grief without resorting to food, chose some light exercise to start with and build up from there, introduce the right foods and eliminate the bad ones. Keep a food/exercise diary to help keep yourself off track, and also write down your moods.
