Weight loss and working

Postby e&me » Sat Nov 13, 2010 9:17 am

I have just been offered a full time job (yay!) and will still be studying part time, as well as looking after my 3 year old! Needless to say I am stressed just thinking about it all and am worried I will turn to snacking or getting take-away for lunch every day. I dont want to gain more weight, but not sure how I will handle it all. I have not worked for just over 3 years and when I was working I was working I was obese and ate crap!

So how to I cope? Any advice?

Use weekends or quite, unhurried periods to plan and prepare your meals and snacks for the working days.
For example, if your work has a microwave oven then cook healthy lunches on the weekend and freeze them in small containers. then use that to heat up the meals during the day. The situation at work will dictate exactly how you prepare your meals and snacks, but don't let it dictate what foods make up those meals and snacks.
