no sorries are necessary. Sudden loss is almost guaranteed to have a disrupting effect on your life and this could pop up anywhere, not least in your health routine.
Suicide of a close person is a very hard thing to come to terms with and you understandable will need to focus on dealing with that perhaps while the healthy stuff takes a backseat (by the way suicides can have a whole range of effects on different people, so don't be surprised at finding yourself feeling things you didn't expect).
