Which scale would be more accurate?

Postby autumns_mummy » Fri Jan 28, 2011 5:44 pm

So I'm on day 7 of Duromine - so far through eating healthily and exercising (which I just couldn't do before) I've lost 3.2kg!

Anyway my Q is, which would be more accurate, the Wii scale, or an old weight scale? When the Dr measured me I was 85kg, but when I weighed in on the Wii I was 83kg (this was before starting, on Thursday - I started on Saturday).

I really want the Wii to be more accurate, cause that means I'm under 80kg!!!

If by "old weight scale" you mean a balance beam scale at the Doctor's, then it will be professionally callibrated and almost certainly more accurate than the Wii.

When using the Wii scales, keep it on a solid surface (ie not carpet). Regardless of the difference between the two scales, the Wii scale should still be able to plot your weightloss trend (downwards!) fairly well.
