Today is the beginning of the rest of my life- CSIRO diet!

Postby Hayley » Mon Sep 05, 2005 9:25 pm

I'm finally back, I lost motivation and gave up for a huge number of weeks, not even logging into this forum for a chat! I have put on weight and currently weigh 87kg exactly.

I officially started the CSIRO Total Well-being diet today and will be doing 1hr of exercise daily. I am aiming to lose 18kg before Christmas. I'm sick of feeling self-conscious - I haven't worn a skirt or pair of shots for at least 8 years! know, how terrible, I'm only 26!! I feel like a grandma!

I want to feel good, look good and be healthy so that I can be active with my 2 year old son.

Wish me luck...I feel so motivated, though, so hopefully I won't need luck.

Hayley, welcome back! It's perfect timing for losing that baby belly 'just before summer, even though your son is now 2 years old.
Are you still living in the most beautiful place in WA, Exmouth? I've been there twice and it's a real dream.

Posting on the forum daily (actually 3 times daily for some of us) seems to keep us all strongly motivated and Pam has invented a monthly weight loss challenge
so please click here and make sure you join us for that.

Looking forward to losing weight with you.

Good luck on the CSIRO diet Hayley! We went on it but only managed a week. I'm a recovering vegetarian and I just couldn't handle all that meat, especially the red meat and the fish. But we did lose 2kg each in that one week and felt great too. If you stick with it I'm sure you'll be able to reach your target by Christmas.

Hi Hayley,

Like Maraver I'm a grandma and a fat one too

I don't think I'll be able to look good in shorts for this summer but watch out for next summer 8) 8)

Good luck and keep checking in :)
