It is easy to become bored with snacks so here are a bunch of snack ideas to keep things interesting.


Fruit and small tub of low fat yoghurt

Tub of Fruche

Fruit and skim milk smoothie

Handful of mixed nuts

Rice Crackers and low fat / low cal dip (look for some easy to make recipes)

1⁄2 cup of dried apricots &/or prunes mixed with 1⁄4 cup of brasil nuts and walnuts.

1 apple sliced and spread with 1tbsp peanut butter

1 Orange and small piece of low fat cheese

1 boiled egg with 1 slice of good quality whole grain bread

1⁄2 English muffin with slice of low fat melted cheese

Half a cup of plain / low fat cottage cheese with 1⁄4 cup of berries and half a sliced banana if you are hungry

Half a cup of plain / low fat cottage cheese with 1⁄4 cup of berries and 1tbsp slithered almonds or walnuts

Protein powder mixed with water and an apple

Celery and carrot sticks with 2 tablespoons of low fat hummus

1⁄2 cup cottage cheese with 1 tbsp flaxseed oil and cinnamon Pear

1⁄2 cup yoghurt with 1 tablespoon sunflower seeds

1 hardboiled egg 3 cherry tomatoes 3 olives

2 Slices turkey breast 3 walnuts 1 apple

2 slices of sliced chicken breast. 3 almonds 1⁄4 cup blueberries

50 grams of turkey or chicken breast 1⁄4 cup pumpkin seeds 1⁄2 cup cherries

1⁄2 cup cottage cheese 1 tbsp chopped pumpkin seeds

1⁄4 cup hummus 1 stalk celery

1 hardboiled egg 1 apple 3 walnuts
