One More Day!!

Postby Fairie » Sun Nov 05, 2006 11:05 am

It is nearly 12pm and the clouds are just staring to breakup and let the sun out. Have been so busy with the birds I was in bed by 9pm last night, got up this morning and thought last day on my own DH will be back this afternoon. Alas......no just had a phone call saying if I was coping ok they would stay and come home tomorrow night. :x
What could I say........... no you have to come home today when this is the first time he has had a break for months. Image

Of course I said no you stay I can manage when my foot is that sore I am limping around. I could have done with DS help but he took off camping for the weekend. :x

Sorry for the rant just a bit frustrated, have been good food wise so am happy with that

Maybe next weekend you get to go camping and he stays home to look after the house? :P

Oh Fay, sorry to hear you're stuck looking after hundreds of birds yet again and you with your injured foot too.
I think it's time you went and took a weeks break, perhaps hire a beach chalet and take a radio and a few books for some R & R.

Men can be real shits at times. My husband, well, we have been together 8 years, and he STILL doesn't make me a coffee when he makes himself one unless I ask! They are all so damn selfish. I would flip the coin, and use this time to enjoy your own company. Sometimes being on our own is good for us.
What did you do to your foot?

Thanks Guys I'm feeling better this morning after going to bed at 9pm.

What sort of birds? How many?

Kim, we have about 140 Aviaries of Australian and Foreign Parrots. There would be anywhere between 2 and 10 parrots in an aviary.

What did you do to your foot?

Livy, I had a Heel Spur a few months back and even though that has gone my foot is still not right. I am actually walking with my foot tilted to the side as I can't walk with it flat on the ground without being in that much pain. :( (I have tried to e-mail you many times and it never goes through)

140 aviaries Crikey! I used to have 3 but we moved to another state and I had a friend who took my birds. I only had small ones though and a pair of turqoisine parrots.

That is a lot of work Fay and on a bad foot too.

Do you have lorikeets? Man, they are noisy critters.
