Down side to losing weight

Postby KimE » Thu Nov 16, 2006 11:56 am

Don't know if anyone else gets this but I now feel the cold a great deal more than I used to. By the afternoons at work my little hands are quite cold and I always wear singlets under my clothes and often wear long sleeve, turtle necks jumpers all day. I love getting out for some exercise as I know it will warm me up.

Sometimes at home I wear my dressing gown over my clothes as it is a big fluffy warm number and acts in place of the fat insulation I have lost.

A friend of mine lost 25kg going from an 18 to a 12 and she has the same problem!!! (I always tell people that I am a size 12...I just keep it covered with fat so it doesn't get scratched!!! LOL)

Kim, I know how you feel, the last few weeks I just cant get warm.

Now, I know I still have enough insulation to see me through the next winter, but I cant shake this cold feeling.

The other night I had to get out of bed ,have a shower, put on my flannel pj's, get my heat pack and add another doona to my bed
[no excuses, I can do it!
