Awww Jewels I hope you feel better soon...I know how you feel and it is true that the injection in the bum helps quicker. I was always hospitalised with mine when I was younger as my tonsils would be touching...24hours of antibiotics and I was a good as new!!

Get better soon mate!!!

well... it turns out im allergic to my injection and now my whole body is covered in a red itchy rash. I went back to the docs this morning and she gave me a steroid cream and a blood test to find out whats wrong so hopefully it will clear up soon. It is soooo itchy i cant stop scratching it, and when i scratch one bit another bit gets itchy. Im getting driven up the wall! heat sets the rash off so no excercising for me and i have to go back to the docs tomorrow to find out the verdict. Oh well back to itching for me :P

Get your rest and look after your health, because that's what's really important. I mean isn't health one of the major reasons we're all trying to lose weight in the first place? Tonsilitis is horrid - I used to get it all the time as a kid. The Aeroplane diet jelly is the only diet jelly brand available from my supermarkets (Port wine and dark cherry are my faves). Dr Tickell's book is not bad but his diet is really just good common sense - all the things we already know we should be eating like fruits and vegies and nuts and legumes and staying away from processed and fatty foods.
Look after yourself and don't stress about your diet too much till you're feeling better.

Feel better!!

Postby orily1 » Thu Jan 04, 2007 11:17 am

I hope you feel better soon, tonsilitis is not nice and bronchitis is even worse. But the meds should help you soon. Are you planning on having your tonsils removed any time soon.

Update :P
I ended up in hospital today, the rash was spreading and getting more dense and was starting to get painful but the doc coudnt work out what it is. So my dad drove me to the hospital they said its either viral or an allergy but managed to treat it anyway. I got given a really strong steroid and some stomach drugs so the steroid didnt mess up my insides too much, and also a strong antihistamine that made me so groggy i couldnt keep my eyes open. They kept me in for observation for the day, and the rash is already settling down, its not as red and not as itchy so they gave me some of the steroids, stomach drugs and antihistamines to take home and say i shuld be as good as new within 5-10 days. I guess the good thing is while im sleeping i cant eat :P *yawns* hehe
