The other thing you might want to consider is purchasing some workout dvds that will teach you different exercises for different muscle groups and will also make your workouts a lot more fun. There are heaps of body weight only workout dvds, but to tell you the truth, I think you would be fine lifting light weights. At the end of the day, in some body weight only exercises, like chin ups, you are lifting your entire body weight, so that is a lot more than using some 3kg dumbbells to do biceps curls!
