Hello everyone!
A few years ago i used this sight, finding it when i was about half way through my weight loss journey. I started at 183kg, finishing at 102kg. I'm 6ft 3in and 23 years old. Shortly after losing this weight i broke my shoulder playing Grid Iron and lost my focus. It's now 4 years later, and what feels like 100 doctors visits later but i am finally booked in for surgery, however i am once again 145kg. Surgery is in august and i need to be down to 110 or lless. I look forward to getting to know and mutually support each other again on this exciting journey!

WOW! Good luck Bossman! You have 8 months to lose 35 kilos or more. Thats a little more than a kilo a week! You can do it! Perhaps gym and walking and pilates/yoga will help you if your shoulder is badly hurt!

Hey being 23, do you like a beer? Maybe pure blonde or another low carb beer might be your best bet!

Welcome (or rather welcome back!).

Can I suggesting using one of those calorie counting websites (I'm using My Net Diary, I've heard others mention CalorieKing) as I've found them really useful at telling me how much I can expect to lose in what amount of time. It's really helping me keep on track for reaching my goal weight at my goal time.

I started at 131.5, aiming to be between 65-70kgs by Xmas this year.

Lmffph mentioned a couple of sites - is also a really handy site to visit too. I'm a recent convert and I'm loving it. It's free to sign up, and you can track your daily calorie needs, create a food diary and record your exercise. It's fantastic and a real eye-opener!

We know that you can do it. You did it before, so meaning you can still do it now. Reducing weight is really easy for you.
