Calorie questions

Postby Teenage struggle » Wed Feb 01, 2012 8:27 am

I was just curious to the correct amount of calories I should be consuming? Or how I can figure out how much I should consume?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Join myfitnesspal - you put your details in there and then it will let you know - you can also track calories each day on there.

I use that app, and I record everything that I eat, but
It doesn't tell me how many calories I should be consuming

Probably best to firstly calculate your BMR (specific to your current weight and activity level).

You can then removed X calories depending on how quickly you wish to lose weight.

I believe 1kg = 7000 calories (anyone correct me?)

Most say for a woman no less than 1200 calories a day but I fluctuate from 1000-1100 on an average day.

Kind Regards
