Ways to Motivate Yourself To Lose Weight- part 2

1.Stop thinking about it and do it. Are you a “talker” or a “doer”? Think about someone who always talks about what he / she is going to do, but never does. Do you want that to be you?
2.A promised vacation or gift for when you reach your goal weight. Make this a unique, special and expensive celebration –something you have wanted for a long, long time.
3.Imagine what it would feel like if you stuck to your weight loss plan for one week and then got on the scale.
4.Go out for a brisk walk today or this evening and identify how that makes you feel. More motivated, energetic and inspired maybe?
5.Clean out your kitchen closet and the fridge. Get rid of all the foods that have been sabotaging your success and take note of what this does to your mood.
6.Go and listen to a motivational speaker or author. You will be amazed at what this might do to motivate you into living the kind of life you are meant to be living.
7.Identify your obstacles to losing weight. Ask yourself if this is really true or are perceived obstacles?
8.If you have a real obstacle, ask yourself this question: “What first step I can I take to overcome this hurdle?” Then, do it.
9.Speak to someone who was very overweight and find out what they did to lose weight.
Rent an inspiring and motivating movie – some of my favorites are “Jerry McGuire, Braveheart, Dead Poets 10.Society, Rudy, Patch Adams, Forrest Gump, What Dreams May Come, Mr. Holland’s Opus and Pay it Forward really inspire me to want to achieve my goals.

best way to motivate yourself is to constantly remind yourself how much you want to improve yourself. and especially after you have even a small amount of success you need to remind yourself what you have achieved already.

Also you need to always be asking yourself if you have truly done everything you can do today to be the best that you can be. especially WHILE you are training think about if you have ran that last 100m or pushed out that last 1 or 2 reps of weight because pushing yourself that extra little bit further then average is what makes a champion.

This can be applied to everything from weight loss, diet, strength/ sports training. In the end success is all about pushing yourself further every time because always doing what came easy is normally the problem most people had that caused them to be out of shape n the first place.

there is ZERO point in going to the gym and only doing what you know you can do.

Willpower is a hard thing to teach but its key and the single most important factor in getting to where you want to be and always maintaining your health thereafter.
