Anyone have experience in gyming it twice a day?

Hi Everyone!

Basically, I'm on a mission to be bikini-ready by summer. I'd like to think it'll be easy for me to achieve this as I pretty much only need to tone up ( I have a little gut, but that's practically melting away).

So, I've started going to the gym twice a day, 6 days per week, before work and after work. My partner works away during the week, so instead of being bored and eating junk, I gym. Of course I am still 'clean' eating (no, I'm not a fan of Ashy Bines, clean eating is eating healthily), however I've bumped up the protein and complex carbs a notch to cater for the extra exercise. 45 mins of cardio in the mornings, light weights training at night.

Has anyone else ever gone to the gym twice a day for a solid period of time?

If so, how efficient were the results?

I started twice a day two weeks ago. Ive been losing weight for 13 months now with exercise 6 days a week minimum, but now that Im 35.5 kgs down and 14.5 kgs away from my goal, its getting harder to shift. So...I decided to shake the body up a bit with a morning session. Im finding its immediately working, but what I am also finding is I am also hungier than ever!!!! Make sure you adjust your eating accordingly, you dont want to starve yourself, but at the same time, dont want to undo the benefits of that additional 45 mins of cardio a day either. I use the stepper for 1 hr, level 13, and in two weeks, the strength in my legs is increasingly, i can feel the muscles! Legs for me, are the key to great weight loss.

Hope youre enjoying it too, nothing worse than hating the gym and going, let alone twice a day!! Good luck :)

Good for you both. I am really lazy going to the gym and feel jealous of the people who are religiously working out everyday. Though I do Zumba at home and it's working fine for me. I make sure that I have at least 25 minutes of zumba everyday. Together of course with my diet pills. Well I'm below 70 kg now. And I'm happy about it.

I don't go to a gym, would take up too much time for me getting there and back, etc. But I have a treadmill and some 3kg weights at home so I've been getting on the treadmill before work and then after dinner. I find exercising in the morning is harder, harder to wake up and get going, but by the time I get to work I have alot more energy than when I don't do any morning exercise. But yeah morning exercise means I'm really hungry by lunch time!
