The saga of the Rum Balls

Postby garn » Thu Nov 22, 2012 11:33 am

Hi :)
Last night i made rum balls..., previously, I would scoff them down as i was making them and give no thought to snaking on the condensed milk.....

Last night, as I was emptying the tin of condensed milk into the bowl the last bit filled the spoon i was headed without thinking direct to my mouth...unlike before the tin went flying into the sink, the spoon following it!! My husband looking at me with the 'she is a nutter' look as I announced...'THAT ALMOST WENT INTO MY MOUTH' in a shocked voice....

Somehow in 6 weeks, my brain has started to think before it randomly lets me put stuff in my mouth. Whether subconsciously because i am exercising and i dont want to wreck that effort or just maybe a lightbulb moment.

Anyway, i thought i would share this little story just for a bit of fun.....

PS I didnt eat any Rum Balls they all went in the fridge... i had an orange.
