Share your fave healthy snack

Ok I'm totally loving frozen grapes at the moment. Delicious, easy. Just keep a container of grapes in the freezer for when you're craving a sweet treat.

I would love to hear what you guys all love to snack on (guilt free snacks only please)!

Love love love frozen grapes too (thanks Kim :) )

Also loving rockmelon and watermelon during the warmer weather!
And for something a little more filling I have cruskits with light Philly shaved chicken cherry tomato and cuecumber.

I look forward to seeing people's suggestions and ideas in this thread.

I am loving a handful of frozen berries (any kind) in a glass, a spoonful of fat free yoghurt, and enough skim milk to nearly cover the berries and churn it all up with whatever blender you have. Yum!

Carrot stick and celery sticks both taste good. Not sure how healthy carrots are but they are a heck of a lot better than lots of other stuff.

Apart from the frozen grapes (session is nearly finished...time to stock up - frozen they will last), I eat lots of apples. I go to the local market on a Sunday night and buy them when they get heavily discounted. Pink lady variety rings my bell. :D

I'll make a mixing bowl full of Diet Jelly with diced fruit (apple and pear). It will last a few days and satisfies my sweet tooth.

Occasionally I will make oat biscuits from rolled oats, sultanas, wholemeal flour, honey and baking soda and munch on them when I have a craving for something solid.

Oh, I love frozen grapes too but my favorite is frozen strawberries. I love strawberries and it is my favorite fruit ever. Yes, I'm a totally strawberry lover. I also make some porridge with frozen strawberries. It is so healthy and delicious. Frozen fruits are the best for snacks and I recommend it to everyone instead of having a bag of chip or any junk foods.

Porridge and frozen strawberries...sounds just the sort of thing that my wife would like - I'll give her your suggestion (I don't like porridge or strawberries whereas my wife does...but it does sound appealing). Thanks for the idea. :D

Welcome Kim! She can make porridge with mix berries too. It is so delicious and I recommend you to try this too. You should try new things because it's exciting. LOL! Have your wife try this now? Just keep me posted. Thanks!

My wife and daughter has both tried it. My daughter didn't like it but my wife did. Next time however she will cut the size of the strawberries to smaller bite size. She said that they tasted sweeter for the freezing.

I've never been keen about strawberries. They just don't light my fire at all. But may try porridge and frozen grapes...who knows it might work? Is that adventurous enough? :lol:

You can also try some porridge with frozen bananas it taste so yummy and sweet. You can also add some pumpkin to your oatmeal it is very delicious too and perfect for the fall weather. It make me feel cozy and warm especially when I taste the pumpkin.

I'm with you Hanney, I looooooooooooooooove strawberries!!! :D
It was a hot summer whilst pregnant with my daughter (many many years ago) and I remember almost living on nothing but strawberries!! In fact, my mother said to me at the time "keep that up, and you'll be giving birth to a giant strawberry!" well she was kind of right, I had a beautiful baby girl with the most gorgeous STRAWBERRY BLONE hair!!! :lol: :lol:
